Tears of Crimson - Prototype & GDD

The planet is dying, and it is up to you to save it. As it creates an ocean from its tears of blood, its health will slowly decrease. You must collect enough healing orbs to heal the planet fully before time runs out and the planet is plunged into darkness.

This is a digital prototype created as part of an assignment for the Game Design module at Kingston University. You can view the presentation for the game we designed that this prototype is for at the bottom of this page. My main responsibilities in this project were building and programming the game itself, including doing level design, animations and UI/UX design and implementation. However, I was also involved in the overall game design and narrative design.
